Pow Wow: The celebration of Native American culture takes place every year at Brown International Academy. As a location for the American Indian Focus Schools Program, Brown is proud to celebrate this heritage. Native American children comprise 10 percent of Brown's population. Fall Festival: The annual Fall Festival is a fundraiser that directly benefits the classrooms. Held inside the school, this is an opportunity for kids to dress up in costumes. Parents volunteer on a class basis to help run activity booths and sell treats. Festive food, face painting, crafts, and holiday games make this a real TREAT!
Winter Arts Extravaganza and Spring Arts Spectacular: The annual Winter Arts Extravaganza and the Spring Arts Spectacular offer a colorful display of the rich artistic abilities of the students at Brown, showcasing performances of art, music, dance, and theater. International Spring Festival: Each year, we hold our International Spring Festival as a fundraiser and community building event. It offers a wonderful opportunity for the children to learn about other cultures in our own community and around the world while enjoying festival games, foods and performances with their families. 5th Grade Exhibition: As 5th graders at Brown International Academy get ready to graduate from elementary school and enter the next phase of their education, they also prepare to present their final assignment: Exhibition. 5th Grade Exhibition offers students the opportunity to help others better understand poverty using arts, information communication technology, and the written word.
