Join the PTA

Everyone is welcome to attend PTA meetings, whether you are a member or not! We hope everyone in our community will consider membership.

The cost to join is $10 and you can join at any time. Your membership is good for the current school year – whether you buy it in August or February. Over the years, the Brown PTA has raised thousands of dollars to support the great work of teachers at our school. Want to be a part of raising funds and deciding how they are spent to do even more good this year? Join the PTA!

  • Do I have to come to the meetings to be a member?
    No. But we hope you will!
  • Can I bring my kids to the meeting?
    Childcare is provided at every PTA meeting by local high school sports teams. Your kids will have a blast playing in the gym with their friends and the older kids!
  • Do I have to volunteer at school or fundraising events to be a member?
    No. However, there are lots of opportunities to volunteer with PTA that require a minimal time commitment. Like an hour or less.
  • If I join, can my spouse or partner vote too?
    Memberships are individual. Your spouse or partner is welcome to join too!
  • Can students join PTA?
    Absolutely!
  • Can I come to the meetings even if I don’t join?
    Everyone is welcome at the meetings. However, only members may vote.
