2019-20 Gifted and Talented Screening Dates

Naglieri (NNAT3) is given to ALL Kinder and 2nd graders in the fall and a qualifying score of 95% or higher begins ID process.  A note will be sent home with testing dates. A description of the test is available if you email the GT coordinator.

Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) is a PARENT nominated assessment that is given at school in mid-November by the GT coordinator at the home school.  This test is only available to 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders .  DEADLINE to register is Friday, Nov. 1 at 6:00 p.m. (no exceptions!)  On-line registration is recommended but hard copies of the application are available in main office in English and in Spanish.   A qualifying score of 95% or higher can be used for GT program eligibility and 97% or higher for enrollment at HGT magnet site.  

Parent information and parent checklists are available at any grade level.  These can be found from your child’s teacher or by emailing the GT coordinator.  Please fill out and return to the GT coordinator at home school.
