Hi BIA families!
As the season of gratitude approaches, November is the perfect time to celebrate everything that makes Brown International Academy so unique. From our globally-minded IB program to the joy of shared traditions like Bike Bus, Book Fair, and Thanksgiving Lunch, this month is all about community, connection, and the small (and big) moments that bring us together. Keep reading to see all the ways you can join in this month and make a difference in our Bobcat community!
You Crushed It, Brown! β Everybody In Campaign Success!
Thanks to our amazing families, we raised $96,553 during this yearβs Everybody In Campaign! This brings us that much closer to reaching our $120,000 pledge to support our schoolβfunding that goes directly back into our unique IB program, including Spanish classes, field trips, and classroom enrichment.
This campaign is a true reflection of the power of our community. Every donation, volunteer hour, and word of encouragement helped make this achievement possible.
Together, we are strengthening our school, enriching our studentsβ experiences, and showing whatβs possible when everybodyβs in!
A Little Extra Support for Your Brown Community
With SNAP benefits not being released for November, many families in our Brown community could use extra support. The PTA invites you to help in two meaningful ways:
Donate to the Food Pantry β Non-perishable food items are always welcome at the front office of the school.
Gift Cards for Families β We are collecting funds to purchase gift cards so families can buy what they truly need, especially non-shelf-stable items. Suggested gift cards include $25 cards to Safeway, King Soopers, and Walmart.
The PTA will collect contributions to purchase the gift cards directly or you can bring them to the front office.
For those interested in supporting in even deeper ways, please reach out to Bridget Cesar (mybuddybridge@gmail.com) or Monique Trujillo (MONIQUE_TRUJILLO@dpsk12.net), who help run family assistance programs
Letβs come together as a community to ensure all Brown families have the support they need this season.
