🌎 International Festival
The annual International Festival is just around the corner on Thursday, February 19. Join the BIA community for one of the best nights of the year as we celebrate cultures from around the world through games, music, and food. More details here.
A huge thank-you to our amazing teachers and the many volunteers who are hosting rooms that celebrate the rich and diverse BIA community—we couldn’t do this without you! Now’s the time to start planning your potluck dish, invite the whole family, and come ready for an evening of sharing, learning, and fun. It’s a night you won’t want to miss!
😎 School SWAG
The Bobcat Swag Store is now open, offering adult long-sleeve purple shirts and student short-sleeve shirts in yellow or purple. Ordering is simple through our new platform, and delivery is super easy—shirts will be sent home directly with your student. Check out the store below, and grab a shirt as a gift! ☕ February Coffee with the Principal
If you missed our January virtual PTA meeting, you missed a great one! We are so grateful to Ms. Zettek for her powerful presentation on how the IB program enriches student learning at Brown International. Thank you to everyone who joined us to learn more about the Brown IB program. This month, we’re skipping the PTA meeting and inviting you to Coffee with Principal Christensen! This casual get-together is your chance to connect with Brown International leadership, hear quick updates on school goals for 2026, budgeting, enrollment trends, and more, and ask questions in a relaxed setting. The Brown International Academy PTA is already looking ahead to next year—and we’d love to invite you to learn more about getting involved! We’re excited to welcome new voices, fresh ideas, and enthusiastic families into a few key leadership and support roles for the 2026–2027 school year.
Looking for ways to make a difference at your child’s school? The PTA would love to have you! There are opportunities for everyone, from one-time volunteer help to longer-term leadership and support roles.
We truly want to see and hear from all parent voices so our PTA reflects and represents every student in our community.

🛝Watch Cats: Recess Volunteers Needed!
Speaking of volunteer opportunities, a fun and easy way to support the school is to get involved in the Watch Cats program.
Watch Cats is a program where positive role models of BIA students (dads, moms, aunts, uncles, grandmas, grandpas, etc.) lend a hand during recess! Not only will you get to hang out with the students (game of tag, anyone?) but you'll also provide extra sets of eyes and ears, which enhances security, reduces bullying, and supports kiddos' confidence! Bonus, you get to feel awesome about helping your kid, their friends, and school!

Save the date for our annual Read-a-thon, March 2 - 27. This annual spring fundraiser helps support community programming at Brown International while also promoting a love of reading. More details coming soon!
