We may not have medals, but we’re not embarrassed to go full Olympic to get your attention.

PTA Olympic team

This year, the Brown International PTA is looking ahead—and inviting the next team of parent, teacher, and caregiver leaders to help carry our work into the 2026–27 school year.

The good news? This is a relay, not a marathon. No solo sprints. No surprise hurdles. Just a thoughtful handoff, steady pacing, and a team that runs together.

TIME TO PASS THE BATON: PTA Leadership, Olympic-Style

Our PTA is strongest when more voices are in the mix.

When parents and caregivers with different experiences, perspectives, and ideas step into leadership, our community becomes more connected, more creative, and more resilient. We’re deeply grateful to the leaders who have carried the PTA forward over the past several years—and now, we’re inviting the next team to help shape what comes next.

This transition isn’t about starting over. It’s about building forward together, with continuity, care, and shared momentum.

Over the next several weeks, we’ll be spotlighting one PTA leadership role at a time—along with a possibly embarrassing photo or two—sharing what the role actually involves, what current leaders love about it, and how we make sure no one is tossed into the deep end without floaties.

🏆 Positions We’re Recruiting For (a.k.a. The Lineup)

  • Vice President – Events
