Welcome back from Spring Break! We're rounding the corner into the final stretch of the school year, and there's a lot of good stuff happening. Here's what you need to know this month.
In-N-Out Cookout Fundraiser — April 16
In-N-Out is bringing the truck to campus on April 16, 5:30–7:30 PM. Grab dinner on the lawn with the BIA community and support the school at the same time — 75% of proceeds come back to Brown.
Tickets must be purchased in advance — get yours here. The deadline to purchase tickets is this Thursday, April 9!
Don't want a burger? No problem. Bring your own dinner and hang out picnic-style on the turf. If your student could use a donated meal ticket, email fundraising@brownpta.org.
🏁 Last Call (We Promise!) – Step Up and Join the PTA Executive Team
Okay, so we may have leaned just a little too hard on the Olympic relay jokes, and yes, you’ve seen more PTA leadership spotlights than anyone should. But now we’re putting the baton down and being totally honest: we need you.
Our PTA is strongest when more parents get curious, get involved, and bring fresh voices, energy, and perspective. We need YOU to help lead our community and keep Brown International thriving.
Why you: You’ve got ideas. You like feeling connected. You want to support our IB mission. That makes you perfect for PTA Executive leadership.

Now through April: Chat with a current exec team member to learn what it's actually like. No pressure, no commitment.
April 28: Submit a brief statement of interest. Someone from the team will follow up.
May 13, 5:00 PM — PTA Meeting: We vote on next year's leadership. (You'll need to be a PTA member to vote — membership is $15. Sign up here.)

Our students read 309,350 minutes and together we raised $33,991 — blowing past our fundraising goal, thanks in part to a generous grandparent match. Huge thanks to everyone who spread the word and rallied friends and family.
