π YOU ALL ARE AMAZING! So far, 26 families have donated $29,594 (wow, wow, wow!), including $9,200 of company matches. This points out just how powerful a tool they can be (have you checked to see if your company matches?!). We are impressed, but we still have a long way to go to reach our goal of $100,000 and 100% participation.

π Why are we fundraising? Brown International is the only school in North Denver with an IB program, which, alongside exceptional academic programming, language classes, and field trips, teaches our kids to be global citizens who care and make a difference in the world. (You can read more about the details here.)
πHow many fundraisers are there?
Everybody In is our only parent-facing fundraiser of the year. Between this and the spring Readathon (which is an ask for extended family and friends), the PTA has committed to raising $120,000 this year to fund the IB program. The money we raise from our generous corporate sponsors and dine outs helps pay for our community events, socials, and 5th-grade continuation.
βοΈ Practically speaking, here are all of the things your donation helps fund:
Our Spanish teacher
An IB coordinator who supports our teachers and creates unique student opportunities
Extra training for our teachers
A program that develops the whole child (their social, physical, emotional, and cultural needs, alongside exceptional academics)
Opportunities to participate in hands-on activities like: Change-Makers Wax Museum, 5th Grade Exhibitions, and the Immigration Experience
Field trips
This program is also a huge draw for new families as many want their kids to be a part of this international program that sets our children up for lifelong success.
π» How much should we donate? Truly, every little bit counts, we've received donations from $5 to $10,000. The suggested donation is $351 per child.
π°Do you want to double your donation? Brown PTA is a 501(c)3 and many companies will match your donation. Check with your company to see if they have a matching program to increase your impact.
