It is an incredible honor to be the Principal of Brown International Academy! Not only do I love the Northwest Denver community, I also love International Baccalaureate programming, making BIA the perfect fit for me.

This year launches my 22nd in education and my third as the Principal of Brown International. I’ve focused the majority of my career on ensuring excellent literacy instruction for students, and I’ve spent the past ten years immersed in the world of the Primary Years Program. I am fully committed to ensuring BIA is a school that prepares allĀ of our scholars to be global citizens, with the agency to make the world a better place.

I am a Colorado native who attended CU Boulder for my undergraduate degree. I got my MA in Curriculum and Instruction at CU Denver and my principal’s license through the Ritchie Program at the University of Denver.

In my free time, you’ll find me with my husband, Ben, our twins, Finn and Kate, and our menagerie of pets (one dog, two cats.) We are a family that loves to travel and try new things. Personally, I also love to cook, read, hike, and ski.
