Hello! My name is Melodee Brinster (Mrs. Brinster) and this is my fifth year at Brown International, and my 22nd year as an educator. My husband Chris and I have two girls, two silly dogs named Sunka and Guppy, a turtle named Booger, three hermit crabs, and sometimes we have fish. When we aren’t busy with the above… I love to study the Dakota Language, read, bead, garden, watch horrible tv, and get outside.
I am so happy to be a fifth grade teacher at Brown International and that I get to be a part of this amazing community. I am passionate about education being key to opportunity and equity, and believe that the IB/PYP program provides a lens to learn about yourself and the world, and to take action with empathy.
