Hello!! My name is Dr. Sara Lewis, and I am so proud to be a fifth grade teacher at Brown! I am honored to have the privilege of being part of students’ academic and social emotional development here at Brown International. A little about me: I was born and raised in Georgia, and I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Piedmont College, and my Doctorate degree from Walden University. This is my 16th year teaching, and I have joyfully taught 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grades (but 5th is my favorite). This is my 3rd year at Brown, and I am so grateful to be at such a unique and special school. I have LOVED being immersed into the International Baccalaureate learner profiles, and cannot wait to continue this journey here with you! When I’m not at school, I unwind by binge watching bad TV, drinking good coffee, and kayaking gorgeous Colorado lakes with my friends and my husband David. We have joyfully lived in Denver for the past 10 years. On the weekends, you can find us walking in the Berkeley neighborhood with our dog Schwarber. Go Brown Bobcats!
