Hello!! My name is Dr. Sara Lewis, and I am so proud to be a fifth grade teacher at Brown! I am honored to have the privilege of being part of students’ academic and social emotional development here at Brown International. A little about me: I was born and raised in Georgia, and I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Piedmont College, and my Doctorate degree from Walden University. This is my 15th year teaching, and I have joyfully taught 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grades (but 5th is my favorite). This is my 2nd year at Brown, and I am so grateful to be at such a unique and special school. I have LOVED being immersed into the International Baccalaureate learner profiles, and cannot wait to continue this journey here with you! When I’m not at school, I unwind by binge watching bad TV, drinking good coffee, and kayaking gorgeous Colorado lakes with my friends and my husband David. We have joyfully lived in Denver for the past 9 years. On the weekends, you can find us walking in the Berkeley neighborhood with our dogs Ivy and Schwarber. Go Brown Bobcats!
